Pakistan's forex reserves hit all-time high of $18.25 b


KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves reached an all-time high of $18.25 billion in the week ending July 2, following inflows of more than $400 million that included loans from multilateral donors, a central bank official said on Thursday.

Reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rose to $14.79 billion from $14.02 billion

Tropical cyclone likely to hit Sindh, Balochistan on Thursday or Friday


Karachi : According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department the low pressure area in the Eastern Arabian Sea is likely to intensify into a depression, a severe weather system, by Wednesday evening.The coastline of Balochistan and Sindh will likely be affected..

The MET Department said other meteorological factors are favourable to turn the weather system into a tropical cyclone and to make sea conditions extremely rough.
