KARACHI: The state-owned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced an on board SMS and phone call service for passengers flying through their Boeing-777 planes.
Initially, the facilities will be offered on PIA’s nine Boeing-777s, which have been deployed on longer routes to Europe, US and Canada.
According to media reports, passengers would take benefits from the service after being charged a minimal amount from their credit card.
The Airline’s spokesperson also announced that passengers would soon enjoy an in-flight email service, an innovative service unthinkable for Pakistani passengers.
