Selection Procedure:
Institute of Space Technology Islamabad granted admissions to the students totally on the merit basis which is determined by a scale developed by the higher management and the weightage for the classes and entry test to make merit is as

• HSSC/A-level / bachelor 60% Marks
• NAT – 1E / GAT 40% Marks

Entry Test:
Those candidates who wants to take admission in the MS programs could take admission on the GAT General Test result

Those candidates who wants to take admission in the PhD program could take admission on behalf of the GAT Subject test Result

As this is the requirement of the Higher Education Commission as according to the new rules and regulations of the admission 2014 as those candidates who wants to take admission in the MS or PhD must have to first clear the GAT General and GAT Subject test respectively.

Eligibility Criteria:

• SSC/O-level in Science 60%
• HSSC/A-level 60%
• NAT – 1E / NAT-1CS 50%
• Applicants having computer studies/ Computer science in lieu of chemistry at HSSC or A-level are eligible to apply for the program of Space science only.
• Limited seats are available for diploma of associate engineer (DAE) in related disciplines (Aggregate marks 60%)
• Seats are reserved for students and children of Pakistani nationals living abroad/dual nationality holders (International fee structure applies). Applicants having valid score of SAT-II with minimum (1650 marks) 550 marks each maths level II, Physics and Chemistry in lieu of NAT- 1E can apply.
• For space science program both NAT-1E and NAT- 1CS are applicable. For Engineering programs NAT -1E is required
• NAT -1E / NAT- 1CS test conducted by the NTS taken are applicable for admission
• Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
