Earlier Zimbabwe won the toss and elect to bat first and manged to score 225 for 6 wickets with Hamilton Masakadza and Brendan Taylor hit half-centuries in the second one-day international.
In reply Pakistan made a smoth and untroubled start with Hafeez unbeaten on 139 and Imran Farhat who failed to score in first oneday made unbeaten 75 runs.
